Trader Vic’s Bellevue

Posted by TraderTiki on September 6th, 2008 — Posted in Events, Trader Vic

If you haven’t heard the news, as of August 23rd, Trader Vic’s Bellevue, WA location is now closed.

I’ve had the brief but bitter burden of informing a few local Tikiphiles who had planned to stop by on their way through to Seattle.  Well, what can I say, but in the words of Martin:

SUPPORT.
YOUR.
LOCAL.
TIKI.
BAR.

Don’t think there’s a Tiki Bar around you?   Critiki will find one for you.  Think you make better drinks in your home basement?  Buy the bar or bartender a Beachbum Berry Book and show them what it’s all about!  The books don’t cost much more than the drinks these days, and passing on the knowledge can be ever so worth it.

I’ll be hitting up my local Tiki Bar, Thatch, this week sometime on Wednesday.  Craig will be there behind the stick, and I’ll be damned if he doesn’t make the best Mai Tai I’ve ever been served outside of Emeryville, CA.

See you there.

This is the one time I have to disagree. The TV in Bellevue was horrible. It really did deserve to kick the bucket.
