Just need to make one more comment here..i didn`t see how NICELY presented the 151 swizzle was until i looked at the bigger picture!

I made the 151 Swizzle last weekend, the 151 demerara is one of my fav rums! its one of those rums i never want to be lacking on my shelf!
As for the Pernod i use 1 drop, for me its enough.

Hi Stevi,
I’ll suggest two things to that Pernod comment, the first of which is to use Herbsaint, which is a bit more complex. The second is to get a little apothecary bottle with an eye dropper, which you slightly see in the back of the Rum, Gomme, and Lime picture.

If Pernod is the Ruiner, Herbsaint, in small portions (six drops), is a… well, a saint!

I happen to have a bottle of Lemon Hart 151 on hand, so I celebrated being done with my MxMo post and watching the others roll in by trying out the 151 Swizzle. It’s amazing how such a little Pernod can go such a long way…

But don’t get me wrong, I’m really enjoying it! Thanks for the inspiration.
