Blackstrap Betty
- 1 ½ oz Cruzan Single Barrel
- ½ oz lime juice
- ½ oz Cruzan Blackstrap Rum
- 3 oz Pineapple Juice
- ¼ oz Koko Cream
- ¼ oz Licor 43
Blend with crushed ice in pulses for no more than 5 seconds in a blender. Pour into a goblet, and garnish with a Mint Sprig.

Are we talkin’ Trader Vic’s “Koko Creme” syrup? I’d like to find a way around using that…

Coco Lopez is the way to go storebought wise.
If you’re interested in making your own, I’ve got Instruction on making coconut cream, though Coco Lopez is just fine, and doesn’t take several hours of effort.
I used Koko Kreme once, and my Rum Balls are still recovering :)
